Haiti is a place to vacation…

Cape Haitian, a place to visit.

Your first thought would be one of, “Are you kidding me?”  We’re not.

If you have a heart and want to help a country and its people come back to life, going to Haiti for a short vacation will have you feeling good about yourself and you'll be asking, “Why hasn’t anyone told me about this?”

Recommended is a week vacation in Cap Haitian, Haiti where you’ll meet the old and the new Haiti clashing for the better.

In the book, The Three Wives of Don Quixote Smith, released by Tate Publishing, there is a scene at The Citadel where lover’s kiss and one of their wedding at Hotel Roi Christophe http://bit.ly/1a55I5E in 1977. To learn more about that adventure, go to: http://bit.ly/17i6yMN.

At that time, there wasn’t the night life that this small town on the northern coast now has http://4sq.com/1cntyzI. So check it out or just relax under the sun at one of the twelve hotels http://bit.ly/1e3TsX2

What can be said is that the people haven’t changed since 1977.  They are one of the most pleasant on the face of the earth. Unfortunate, the reality is they are a poor people.

Use a local guide to get you to The Citadel and nearby Sans-Souci Palace. Be prepared for a walk and donkey ride up to what was once called one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

There are various ways to get to this beautiful area that few venture http://bit.ly/19urt3S. However, it’s recommended to fly direct from Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport, Florida.

Put a little adventure into your life. Bring cash to donate to the local economy.  Smiles will greet you everywhere you go.
