A five-year-old
daughter is murdered, and the mother, Tess, goes off the rails, not receiving
psychotic treatment. Her husband, Josh, appeases her to no avail and has his secrets.
Tess also does some unusual things, like stocking the daughter of the man who killed her's. This engagement leads to disturbing events interwoven throughout the story.
IF SHE DIES is a powerful story of marriage's strengths and weaknesses - the give and take involved in keeping together. The author does an excellent job of portraying the love between a man and a woman.
Disturbing and fast-paced read.
