I thought this book would be a story about someone going on a cruise for fun. In the Amazon description, which I read after reading the book, the whole story is given away – strange.

However, Trixie goes on the ship Emerald Queen after she finds her husband with three naked hussies. Then the fun begins, with a whole cast of characters on the cruise.

A body is found in the only suitcase she brought on board the ship. Trixie meets the captain, the ship's detective, two ladies who live on the ship year-round, and her ghost.

A whirlwind of eating, drinking, and snooping follows. The comic events outdo the serious investigation with a surprising ending.

CRUISING is an excellent first read in an 18-book series. If you want to cruise vicariously, this is for you. It's fun, but cruising is not for me.
