Her family is at war with a part of their international Order, and her parents want Sophia to be safe, so they send her to Genesis Academy with her cousin Patrick. 'The Chosen One,' Sophia Stanton's life changes as she develops into a Seeterpreter.
Xander and his sister, Bella, become secondary characters, helping Sophia cope with her changes and protecting her from the evil infiltrating the academy. As Sophia's powers get more robust, so do the people who are out to destroy her and her family's legacy.
The unusual ending leads the reader into Book 2. The characters are colorful and exciting enough to follow in this series.
